Barry Porrelli was born and raised in Calgary where he obtained his Law degree graduating from U of C in 1985. 

He practiced in Calgary for several years before being called to the B.C. Bar in 1993.  He enjoyed immensely his 15 year affiliation with the law firm of Bassett and Company (now Bassett Spagnuolo) before founding his own firm in Westbank, B.C.

Although Barry has a strong referral system to seasoned lawyers in all areas of the law, his practice is restricted to solicitor's work.

Porrelli Law has a strong, select and highly dedicated group of assistants and senior paralegals including Dianne Strilchuck, Joan Schroeder, Danielle Rose, Sandra Wright, Naomi Neukom and Laurie Porrelli.

Business law being one of his core areas of practice, Barry has joined offices with those of Joe Maciel C.A., a well regarded Chartered Accountant practicing in the region for many years.
